the beach is my first love

With our big move headed west into the desert, I’m going to miss the beaches of the east coast. I’ve always been a mermaid at heart, so part of me will be left with the sand and the sea while we head into dry earthy lands to explore mountains and rocks. I love so many types of terrains, so my heart will be content getting to experience the new and different. But like I said, the beach has always been one of my favorite places, and has been my go-to location for getaways and shoots for the blog. The good news is, I still have tons of photos and videos from our Florida road trip to release, so there will still be a taste of palm trees amidst all the cactus goodness at Ready Gypset Go in the days ahead!

On the Road

So excited to release our new little film in celebration of our big announcement! At the end of this month, we leave our home base on the east coast to officially set off in our vintage 1972 Airstream Trailer named Flo! We are moving our home base to Arizona, to travel the beautiful Western lands. Ready Gypset Go is really coming to life and spreading its wings. What started as a small fashion blog with big dreams, has become exactly what I had envisioned for it. I have always been a believer in dreaming big and striving after what you long for, even when it seems impossible. Now I know what it’s like to say that we did it. We turned this plan into reality with hard work and determination, and I can’t put into words how amazing it feels to know that we made it happen when we started with nothing but a set of skills and passion.In less than 2 weeks, life will become an endless adventure into the unknown. People ask me if I’m afraid, or if it all doesn’t just seem too hard. I don’t know why, but I’m not afraid at all. I feel like this life was made for me, and me for it. No boundaries, no limits. Golden State of Mind

During our travels in California after Coachella, we headed through the deserts and the mountains of Ventura. Golden grass danced in the wind across the sides of the hills, and we couldn’t not stop to explore and take in the view. Especially since I spent most the drive ooh-ing and ahh-ing over the mountains, I knew I’d regret it if we passed it all by without some photos.

The Perfect Festival Bag Giveaway!

At Coachella, or any music festival, bags are an essential to survival. Coachella has some strict rules that make it hard to know what to bring, and what you’re allowed to take into the venue. You don’t want anything too big or heavy, or too small that you can’t keep your essentials. You want something that will be comfortable to carry for long hours and through the heat.

I tried out a few different bags, but my absolute favorite was the Gypsy Sole bag that I carried all of Day 3! It was just big enough for what I needed, but not too big or awkward. Its long flat strap was perfect wearing cross body if wanted, and didn’t chaff my shoulder. It went with three different outfits, and I can definitely say that I recommend this bag for festivals!
