Chasing Endless Summer | part 1

09/06/2016 By Sarah 3 Comments

Summer has ended and it’s hard to believe that this time last year was when we were first prepping our Airstream for full time life on the road. We had spent the summer living on the prairies of Arizona, exploring the wild west. Then things came to a collide and we knew it was time to take the leap of faith and be real nomads. We took every penny we had and prepped our gypsy wagon for travel and comfort, making it as homey as we could. I reached out to brands and came up with my first ever travel campaign that took us to Joshua Tree, Big Sur, and then the Redwood Forest. I was completely in awe at how many brands were so excited about what we were doing and jumped on board to support us. We traveled to each of these amazing locations, and through the wonder and difficulties on such extensive travels, we documented our adventures and created look books for brands as we discovered beautiful places.

Now Fall will always remind me of big changes, big dreams, and chasing adventure. I feel the change in the air and the need to hit the road. There is just an essence to this season that makes me want to road trip.

It has been such a comfort to be living in California for the last year, and we got extra comfortable in SoCal for the last 6 months. But I know it’s time to move on to new places, see new things, and meet new people. Maybe we will roll on to a new state, or maybe we will hop on a plane. It’s hard to plan for anything when this lifestyle brings new opportunities to us in waves. You never know what will happen next, but I’m so excited for the big projects we have been working on this summer, and for the new travel campaign I have coming up next! Stay tuned!

PS- I hope you love this Sea Gypsies Fall 2016 Campaign as much as I do! We shot it early this spring (when I still had my mega long hair), and it’s so great to finally release them! I can’t believe how much has happened since then!

"Once I get a good idea into my head, I have to go for it. And I’ll be damned if someone tells me I can’t. The moment you listen to everyone else, you lose your purpose."
