Festival season is here and the excitement grows everyday! Getting to style my festival outfits is one of my favorite parts, but it is so hard to narrow it down! I always get so inspired to adorn myself with feathers and jewels and accessories, and getting inspiration is a must for completing the details of my outfits. So to inspire you, I turned to Express for a special festival style post!
I hand picked some of my favorite pieces from Express, sticking to what would be comfy and cool for the hot desert fest days. I wanted a little more of an edgier look, so I went with this fantastic black deep V bodysuit adorned with a silver body chain instead of dangly necklaces. It’s fun to jewel up, but it can but much more comfortable to keep it simple with the jewelry.
High waist denim is a must in my book, and the Express shorts are extremely comfortable to move in or lounge in the grass. One of my top festival must haves is a good scarf. Wear it on your head, around your neck, or on your belt… it is one accessory that adds the flair, and is also extremely useful for when the dust kicks up, and you have to go bandit style and cover your face. Another accessory I’ll always have on hand is a belt. It adds detail to your outfit and is perfect for wearing over a dress, romper, shorts, and usually makes your outfit even better. I loved how this one matched my scarf perfectly.
And remember to bring sunglasses, the perfect medium sized back that isn’t too bulky to dance around with, and comfortable shoes!
