Behind the Scenes:
I was so happy to make a special appearance in the Winds of Change fashion show in Chagrin, and had so much fun working with all the lovely team! I started out with the the hair stylist Katie Lee, and she was so amazing! She took my fishtail concept and executed it perfectly. The perfect boho braids! I literally could not have been happier with the way she styled my mermaid locks… hopefully you’ll get to see more hairstyles from her again in the future! 😉
Martha Vucsko from La Look Boutique also not only made a special appearance in the fashion show, but did makeup for the models! She was absolutely fantastic, and I’m so glad I got to meet her and experience her makeup talents. I’m absolutely in love with the products she introduced me to, and she was even sweet enough to make me up a goodie bag of some of the skincare products! I’ll be doing a special blog post on those very soon!
You may have heard of the amazing Garden of Flavor juices, which I’ve worked with before! Lisa was so kind to donate some of her best flavors for the fashion show, and I definitely recommend them if you are looking for a juice cleanse. My favorite one is the Goji Pineapple!
The fashion show was promoting kindness, and we got to have fun on the Kindness Bus as part of the show. What an amazing way to connect with people!
What can I say except I LOVE Spell, and this dress was amazing. I got to style my own shoes with my outfits, and I couldn’t deny the perfection that happened when pairing Wild and Free Jewelry’s Wild Ones Boots with Spell’s Wild Horses Dress. Now take me out West!
In my mind the 70’s is pretty much the best decade, besides the 20’s. But when they showed me these Spell bells, I knew right away I wanted to pair them with my Floggs Moccasins. The flowy tank perfected the effortless 70’s boho look. I pretty much want to wear this amazingly comfortable outfit all day and forever.
I wrapped up the show with a Boho Bride look while the song A Sky Full of Stars by Coldplay played. Um….. SWOON. I pretty much fell in love with this outfit and wanted to go elope with it immediately. Time for a wedding shoot, I think!
And it was pretty much magical the way we all worked together that day and then the finale came and we all walked together. I’m so happy I got to meet everyone, I loved meeting some of my local fans too! And I’m so stoked to get to be a part of the next one in Hudson! So if you’re in the area, please come by and say hello!
If you do come to be a part of the fun for the next show, be sure to take selfies and lots of photos, and use the hashtag #wocsummervibes to share your fun moments with us on Instagram and Twitter! I’m also hosting a giveaway with Winds of Change of one of my accessory picks from the fashion show! So check back soon to see how you can enter to win!
My girl Carlyn (from my Dreamers photoshoot) also got to model with me, and we had a blast, as you can tell. You can see the rest of the fashion show photos on the Winds of Change Facebook page here!
