It’s hard not to fall in love with wearing lace, and Free People. And to top off that romantic look, a sweet little flower crown couldn’t be more perfect, an old skeleton key (to my heart) hanging around my neck, and of course my ultimate fav, Jeffrey Campbell Joe boots. I mean, sometimes you just want to channel your inner romantic and wear roses in your hair!
The best part about a Free People slip is that you can layer it with just about anything. It can be sweet, or even have a hard edge. Though I just threw on a sweater to stay warm before snapping some photos, I felt quite comfortable in my thick wool sweater and realized it actually matched. I definitely will be doing some layering up in my next posts with the cold season at my doorstep. Winter will definitely be a season of experimenting with the different looks I can achieve with different pairings.
One of the sweetest souls I’ve gotten to collaborate with is definitely the little lady over at The Uncommon Wren. You can see the love Wren puts into her jewelry by the details in the each unique piece. I love how she takes little odds and ends that can be ordinary, and composes them together to make something that’s absolutely whimsical and beautiful. I can’t tell you how many times I get compliments when wearing her bohemian jewels. It’s gotten to the point where my friends immediately recognize her work when they see me wearing one of her new pieces.
If you want to add something special to your bohemian collection, you really should have your own little treasure from The Uncommon Wren. Some of her necklaces are my most worn and most loved pieces. I can’t wait to show you more of those and other pieces in my upcoming posts.
