Ready, Gypset, Go

IMG 0997 2

Ready, Gypset, Go stands for the freedom of living your life the way you desire. It stands for never ceasing to dream, nor holding back your creativity. It stands for being your own person, and making your own path. Explore, express yourself, ready, get set, go.
Hello Gypsetters! I’m so excited to be launching this blog dedicated to fashion and travel. You may be wondering what a Gypsetter is, and what this blog’s name is about… Let me explain!
Gypsetters are artists, surfers, designers, and bon vivants who live and work around the globe. Gypset Style explores the unconventional, wanderlust lives of the high-low cultural nomads and the bohemian enclaves they inhabit, as well as their counterculture forbears, such as the Victorian explorers, the Lost Generation, the Beatniks, and the Hippies.
I believe Gypsetters have returned with our generation. You can tell who is a Gypsetter by the gleam of adventure in a young person’s eyes. By their desire to be themselves, and the way they stand out from the crowd.
Maybe they walk barefoot, or maybe they let their hair go long and wild. They dance to their own beat, and they are wild ones. They don’t settle in one place because the world is their playground. They wander but they are not lost. They know just who they are and what they want, and what they want is to never stop exploring, never stop learning, never cease to be amazed and always ALWAYS express themselves in their own colorful way.
So, my fellow Gypsetters, I see you’ve found me and I hope we can all share some amazing adventures! I hope to share mine with you here.
I’m so excited to share with you the fashion I’m lucky to be representing, in collaboration with lots of special brands and labels.
The Vintage Junkyard kimono I’m wearing is absolutely one of my new favorites. Not only did they send this gorgeous pink peacock kimono, but they sent me a whole goodie bag of things to photograph. I’m going to be having a special kimono post every once in a while featuring the ones from Vintage Junkyard, among other brands. I’m apparently the kimono queen, as lately I’ve been unintentionally collecting them… or hoarding them. Let’s just say I no longer have room for them in my closet!
What I’m Wearing:
Pink Kimono: The Vintage Junkyard
Slip/Dress: Free People
Joe Boots (grey): Jeffrey Campbell for Free People
Buhdda Necklace: Sailor’s Omen
Long Rosary Necklace: The Uncommen Wren
Headpiece: Gypsy Junkies
Rings: The Uncommon Wren, Skydog, Lost Lover, The Feather Junkie

Movie Night!
