you give me butterflies

 

Some days are just perfectly simple. Little things like the breeze stirring the golden grass, wearing a slip that flows just right, and a calm landscape surrounding you… these are some of the things that make me so happy. Nature inspires so much of my work, and I honestly can barely survive the winter months. I saved this beautiful post for one of the grey winter days such as this, and I am so happy to finally show you.

I put together some of my favorite brands in an outfit that made me feel like a wildflower, and want to lay in a field all day. Kite & Butterfly makes some of the most beautiful kimonos and dresses- the detail in them just capture my heart. The way their pieces flow make me feel like royalty. Their kimono paired perfectly with the color of my favorite Free People slip. Then the touches of whimsy through Uncommon Wren and Aloha Gaia jewelry brought elements of nature to my outfit which I loved. I topped it off with the butterfly crown from Wild and Free which couldn’t have been more perfect.

I’m watching the winter days pass by and eagerly waiting for spring. I sometimes want to give up and let my unfulfilled inspiration die, as I feel trapped inside, but I just keep dreaming anyway. Because winter will eventually end, and I have big plans for the near future for my career and this blog. With spring comes hope and creativity.
